Obituary of Sanford Newton

Sanford Newton died on Monday August 2, 2002 at his home in Denville, NJ. He was 69 years old. Mr. Newton was born in Oceanside, NY and moved to Denville, NJ in 1959. Mr. Newton was a Grounds Service Instructor for United Airlines in Newark, NJ for 33 years. He retired in 1989. Mr. Newton was a member of the Rock Ridge Community Club in Denville, NJ and the United Airlines Retirees Group. Mr. Newton was married for 49 years to Marian (Bunny) Sanford. He has three children Bruce and Donna Newton of Apple Valley, MN, Cheryl and Richard Meidling of Rockaway, NJ,and Brian and Krista Newton of Bartow, FL.He is the grandfather of Nicole Newton, Alexah and McKenzie Newton, Matthew, Sean, and Justin Meidling. His brother Willard Newton of Alpine, CA. Mr. Newtons funeral service will be held at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Friday August 6, at 11:00AM. Committal services to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday 7-9PM.
