Obituary of Frank J. Owens

Frank J. Owens died on Saturday September 28, 2002. He was 82 years old. Born in Belfast, Ireland, He moved to Paterson, NJ where he lived until 1979, before moving to Denville. He had served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked at the Hawthorne Post office for over 31 years, achieving management position before retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Denville American Legion, and a member of N.A.R.F.E. (National Association of Retired Federal Employees). His wife Catherine (Delling) passed away in 2000. He is surveyed by his children; Michael, of Rockaway, Eileen Fluker, of Budd Lake, Marilyn Owens-Looloian, of Newtown Square, PA, and Nancy Owens, of Denville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, and a sister, Anne Keegan, of Little falls, NJ. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:0AM at St. Marys Church. Entombment is at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
