Marjorie Sharrock Nixon, 99, died on Friday Feb.15, 2008 at Troy Hills Nursing Center in Parsippany, NJ.
She was born March 1, 1908 to Thomas Richard Sharrock and Margaret Anne Gorton. She was raised in Mt. Arlington, NJ and she moved to Rockaway Boro in 1942.
Marjorie had been a clerk for JJ Newberry's Department Store in Dover, for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband James Nixon in 1962, as well as her sisters Katherine Grace Ranft, Hilda Sharrock, and her brothers Richard and Thomas Sharrock.
She is survived by her nephews and niece, Robert and Patricia Ranft Jr. of Denville, Margaret and Michael Mele of Morristown, Thomas and Sue Ranft of Columbus, GA, Donald and Barbara Ranft of Rockaway.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 Am until time of services.
