Kenneth E. Miller passed away on Wednesday July 10, 2002 at Compassionate Care Hospice. Born in Rockaway, NJ, he had lived in Oak Ridge, NJ for the last 25 years. He worked at Leslie Valve Co. in Tampa, FL, (formerly in Lyndhurst & Parsippany) for 20 years before retiring in 1987. He served in the US Army during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He also received the purple heart award. He was a past Commander of V.F.W. Post 2519 in Denville, A member of the American Legion Post #27 in Dover. Member of D.A.V. Chapter #63 in Dover. He was also a retired minister of Spiritual Development. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beatrice O. (Bird), son, Raymond K. Miller, Daughter, Barbara M. Lucas. Five Grandchildren, and Four Great Grandchildren. Visiting will be at the funeral home on Saturday July 13, 2002, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, a service will be held at 8:00PM.
