Mr. Joseph W. Briggs died on Tuesday at his home. He was 84 Years Old.
Mr. Briggs born in Pell City, Alabama and had lived in Durham, NC for many years. Mr. Briggs lived the last 15 years in Parsippany, NJ.
Mr. Briggs was a Manufacturing Plant Manager for many years at The Best Foods Corp. and retired in 1985.
Mr. Briggs funeral services are on Saturday at 10:00AM at Norman Dean Home for Services. Interment services will follow at Restland Memorial Park DeForest Ave., East Hanover, NJ.
Mr. Briggs wife Arline V. Hanks died in 1987. He is the father of Carolyn Sumler of Parsippany, NJ, Mary Barbara Hunter of Sun Praire, WI, and Nancy JoAnn Bellamy of Parsippany. Also survived by three granddaughters and four great grandchildren.
