Obituary of Wesley J. Brooker Sr

Wesley J. Brooker Sr., 91, died on Saturday June 22, 2002 at his home where he lived with his granddaughter Kari Tonnesen-Cost.
Born in North Bergen, NJ, Mr. Brooker lived in West Orange before living in the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville from 1951 to 1974, when he moved to the Mt. Tabor section of Parsippany, NJ.
He was an Assistant Vice President of the Bond Department for Clarke Dodge Co. on Wall St. in Manhattan for 44 years, retiring in 1960. He then went to work for Tucker, Anthony, R. L. Day Inc. of Morristown, NJ until retiring in 1986.
Mr. Brooker had been a member of the Lake Arrowhead Community Club in Denville, NJ, serving on the board as Treasurer, Vice President and President.
His wife, Florence M. Brooker, died on October 17, 1994.
He is survived by two sons: Wesley J. Jr. of Miami, FL and Richard G. of Moscow Mills, MO, a daughter: Patricia Tonnesen of Denville, NJ, five grandchildren: Kari Tonnesen-Cost, David Brooker, Kimberly Barclay, Jennifer Brooker, Brian Brooker and one great grandson: Nathan Brooker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 27, 2002 at 10 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ, (973) 627-1880, www.normandean.com.
