Ernie and I met when he was back at ProHaircutters in Morris Plains. I was 12 or 13 at the time and Ernie cut my hair for over 30 years, as well as, my son's from the time he was old enough to sit in the chair. He had a warm heart and a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Ernie cut my sons hair and mine for almost 22 years. But he wasn't just my barber , he was my friend. We would solve the problems of the world while I was sitting in the chair. He took care of many. He was just a good person. I will truly miss him but I think he is in a much better place now. Rest in peace.

Ernie was a great man. He was my barber for years and he was always a pleasure to see. He was so happy and loved to talk about Dorraine and the children. I will truly miss him. My he rest in peace and I will always smile when I think of him.

My brother and I had Ernie cut our hair for many years. He was a great soul who could always make you laugh. There were a few times I almost fell out of the chair. It then became our goal to make Ernie laugh. We will miss you.

For over 25 years Ernie has been the best barber I have ever known as well as a great friend. He had a heart of gold and always went out of his way to help if someone needed it. He always had a smile on his face and never complained even when his health was bothering him. I will truly miss him.

So saddened to hear about Ernie's passing. He gave my son his first haircut and continued to cut his hair for 20 years. His stories were always so entertaining. Rest well my friend.
