George W. La Doux 86, died Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ on Tuesday February 18, 2003. Mr. La Doux was born in California and lived many years in Denville, NJ.
Mr. La Doux was a Letter Carrier for the US Post Office Denville branch for 22 years retiring in 1982. In 1981, he received the Superior Performance Award. After retirement, he was employed part time in sales at the Macys Dept store at the Rockaway Township Mall. Mr. La Doux was employed as full time mailroom clerk at the Chase Bank at Parsippany, NJ and retired full time in 1997. Mr. La Doux was a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge #20, Dover, NJ.
Mr. La Doux is survived by his wife of 40 years, Frances E. (nee Roe) La Doux of Denville, NJ, his son Mark, his daughters, Linda and Paulette. His stepdaughter, Winnie Franz of Denville, NJ. His Granddaughters, Linda and her husband Michael Bischer, Beverly and her husband Brian Bischer, and Heidi and her husband Walt Roback all of Denville, NJ. Also survived by five great grandchildren.
Funeral service on Friday Feb. 21 at 8:30PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-8:30PM.
