We'll miss you Nona...
Our thoughts and prayers are on our grandmother. Many fond memories of Sundays spent in South Orange stick out in our minds. From playing together while waiting for pasta, to baking, to sitting around the dinning table with our family, nothing but fun times are remembered. The memory that sticks out most for me (Andrew) is making pizza and pasta dough with Nona. We would start out with a ring of flour then crack some eggs in the middle, add some ingredients the kneed them all together. My cousins John Micheal and Jennifer and I would play all afternoon and Nona would never yell at the mischief we caused, instead she would sneak us chocolate from her china cabinet and any other goodies that might be around. We would explore the attic filled with treasures of the past, old clothes, books, and memories brought over from Italy. I will never forget my Nona and Papa during summer vacations spent with them. They would speak Italian, I would speak English and we would both understand each other. The cabinets would be stocked with Nutella and i would ALWAYS be very well fed.

My fondest memory of my Aunt was as a child visiting her home. She was always so kind and caring. She made me feel welcomed at her home. She treated me as though I were her own son. A truly compassionate soul. Rest in peace.
