Obituary of Donald L. Gladden

Donald Lee Gladden 72, died on Sunday Dec. 23, 2007 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ. Mr. Gladden was born in Indianapolis, IN, was a resident of Ohio, Kentucky, Morristown, NJ and the last 44 years in Rockaway Township, NJ. Mr. Gladden was a member of Denville Community United Methodist Church for many years, a member of IBEW Local 102 Parsippany formerly Local 581 of Morristown. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He was honorably discharged from the US National Guard on September 30, 1961. His wife of 46 years Carol White Gladden, his children, Craig S. Gladden and his wife Kathleen of Wharton, Alayne J. Torretta and her husband Daniel of Phillipsburg, Mark D. Gladden and his wife Paula of Rockaway, his 8 grandchildren, Michelle Torretta Luxembourger, Matthew Udasco, Megan Gladden, Daniel Joseph Torretta, Ryan David Gladden, Jordan Lee Gladden, Jeanette Sarah Torretta, Emily Michelle Gladden, his siblings, Gloria Lennon of Denville, Sandra Reynolds of Boonton, Richard Fitch of Vernon, his aunt Muriel Van Arsdale of Chester, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and a host of friends and the camping crew. The funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Donald on web site), on Thursday Dec. 27th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday Dec. 26th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Denville Community United Methodist Church Building Fund, 190 Diamond Spring Rd., Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
