Arthur A. Clarke passed away on November 14, 2007 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville.
He was 83 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he had lived in Parsippany, NJ for the last 34 years.
Arthur worked as an electronic technician at Sandoz in East Hanover, NJ for 15 years before retiring in 1988.
He proudly served in the US Army during WWII earning a purple heart and seeing action in Normandy, the battle of he buldge, and D Day.
Arthur is survived b his wife of 61 years, Phyllis (Lockwood) Clarke of Parsippany, and his Children Ellen (& John) Bieljeski of NC, Janet Batzle of SC, and Arthur A. Clarke Jr. of Parsippany, NJ. His 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and sisters Gloria Martino of CA, and Theresa Frye of Belleville, NJ also survive him.
Funeral services will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave www.normandean.com on Thursday Nov. 15, at 9PM. Friends may visit prior to the service from 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations can made to: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
