Groszew, 87, passed away on Saturday December 1, 2012. Roxanne was born in Kiev, Russia. In 1954 she came to the United States and settled in Paterson, NJ, she was a resident of Pompton Lakes before moving to Denville in 2000. Roxanne was a homemaker and was an Avon representative. She was a member of the St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Paterson where she had been a teacher. She was a member of the Denville Senior Citizens Club. Roxanne was predeceased by her husband Victor N. Groszew in 1988 and her son Alexander Groszew Sr. in 2006. Roxanne is survived by her two sons, Tony and Linda Groszew of Denville, Serge Groszew of Lake Shawnee, and her 6 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathan, Matthew, Nicole, Tanya, and Alexander Jr. Roxanne’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Roxanne on website), on Wednesday December 5th at 8:15am for a funeral service at 10am at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Wayne, NJ committal and interment services at the Novo DiVica Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday December 4th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
