Joyce M. Russell, 54, died on Saturday Nov. 10, 2007 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover, NJ.
Joyce was born in Jersey City, to the late Robert E. Speer and Eugenia Chojnacki was a longtime resident of Kearny and the last seven years of Rockaway Township. Joyce was a 1971 graduate of Kearny High School. She was employed as a Commercial Plumbing Supply Representative for 25 years, she was employed at Madison Plumbing Supply and prior Egberts Plumbing in Newark.
Joyce was a nature enthusiast an avid gardener and loved animals.
Joyce's children, Jeffrey R. and Genevieve E.,her loving companion of 27 years Mark Davis,her sister and brother in law Carole and Richard Ferfecki, her brother and sister in law, Robert and Laurie Speer, her nephews and niece, Dennis and Craig Ferfecki, Valerie and Robert Speer.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Joyce on web site), on Wednesday Nov. 14th from 2-4 & 7-9pm.The family will gather at the funeral home on Thursday Nov. 15th at 9:30am and go in procession for a 10:00am graveside service at Marcella Union Cemetery Rockaway Township, NJ. In lieu of lowers donations to Compassionate Care Hospice, 400 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
