Kenneth F. Ken Curcio, 58, died on Monday October 15, 2007 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mr. Curcio was born in Harlem, NY and was a longtime resident of Ridgewood and for the last 21 years a resident of Rockaway Township, NJ. Mr. Curcio attended Jacksonville University and Utah State. Mr. Curcio was a Scrap Metal Purchaser Specialist for J & J& Metal Co, Newark, NJ for many years. He enjoyed allsorts of music was an avid reader, bird watcher, camper, electric trains, enjoyed swimming, hiking, basketball, and bike riding, was a great story teller.
His beloved and devoted wife Marie, his sister Lorraine Curcio of Nutley, his father in law Edward Wood of Clifton, his sister in law Roberta Foster of Anza, CA and his many devoted and loyal friends survive him.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ (please light a candle in memory of Ken on web site) www.normandean.com, on Friday Oct. 19th at 9:00am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church, Denville, NJ. Interment services at Immaculate Conception Cemetery Upper Montclair, NJ. Friends will be received on Thursday Oct. 18th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to American Diabetes Assoc. 1160 Rt 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 or the Nature Conservancy, 4245 N. Fairfax Dr., Suite 100 Arlington, VA 22203 would be appreciated.
