Mary Asta, 90, died at her home in Denville, NJ on Wednesday September 26, 2007.
Mrs. Asta was born in New York City, New York and was a long time resident of Brooklyn before moving to Denville. Mrs. Asta was a seamstress for many years.
Her husband John Asta predeceased her. Her daughter RoseAnn Zaloshinsky and her husband Alan of Denville and two grandchildren Adam and Lauren and her sister Gilda Longordo of Brooklyn, NY survive her.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (light a candle in memory of Mary on web site),on Monday Oct. 1st at 8:45 am for a 9:45am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church, Denville, NJ Interment Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI, NY. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday Sept. 30th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to The Childrens Institute, One Sunset Avenue, Verona, NJ 07044-5188 or the Employment Horizons, 10 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927 would be appreciated.
