Karen L. Gunther (Smith) passed away on September 21, at St. Clares Hospital in Denville.
She was 55 years old.
Born and raised in Rockaway Borough, she had lived in Wharton before moving back to Rockaway 10 years ago.
Karen had attended Rutgers University and worked as a secretary for Castle Rock Medical Billing in Deville, NJ. She was also an avid homemaker and loved to cook.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years Guy Gunther, and her loving daughter Caitlyn Gunther, both of Rockaway, NJ. Her brother Edward (& Pat) Smith and their son Michael of Denville, NJ also survive her as well as many cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Denville, NJ www.normandean.com will begin at 9:30AM on Wed. Sept. 26, for a 10:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Marys Church in Denville.
