Obituary of Russell P. Garris

Russell P. Garris Beloved Father and Husband Russell P. Garris died peacefully after a long illness at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Tuesday September 18, 2007. He was 51 years old. Born in Newton, he had lived in Morris Plains before moving to Rockaway, NJ 20 years ago. Russell earned his Bachelor of Science degree from N.J.I.T. in 1988 and went to work as an Industrial engineer at Allies Signal for many years. He then went to work at Avaya as a computer Technician for 12 years. Russell was a life long avid fisherman. He is predeceased by his mother Barbara in 2002, and his brother Lester S. Garris III in 1997. His wife of 14 years Debbie (Miller) Garris, and his loving children Heather and Jennifer of Rockaway, NJ and his brother Matthew Garris of Clark Summit, PA survive him. Visitation will take place at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Sunday September 23, from 1- 4:30PM with a funeral service following at 4:30PM.
