Katherine Stefaniuk ( Wynarczyk) passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville on Aug. 29, 2007.
She was 88 years old.
Born in Trojca, Ukraine, she had lived in Germany and France before moving to the United States in 1956, where she settled in Paterson before moving to Denville, NJ 14 years ago.
She worked as a factory worker at Marcal in Elmwood Park, NJ for 25 years before retiring in 1982. Katherine was gifted at embroidery, and also loved knitting and crochet. She had been a member of St. Johns Ukrainian Church in Whippany, NJ for many years.
Her husband Peter with whom she was married since 1947 predeceased her in 2005.
Her children Paul Stefaniuk of Rockaway, NJ and Jeannine Vlacich of Smithtown, NY and her grandchildren Jennifer, Nino John, Catherine and Jason survive her.
