I am so sad to be reading this. I've often thought of Mrs. Vlahides and am so sorry to have read of her passing. I was fortunate to have graduated from her CNA program in 1998(and since gone on for BSN,RN). I also had the pleasure of going to California with her for a HOSA competition in 1997. She took me under her wing and encouraged me so much. She was the best teacher ever! I had kept in touch with her for many years after graduation, but list touch after I started a family. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to her family ❤

Norma was a joy to work with at Ocean County Vo-Tech Schools. Norma was wonderful with her students; she taught them to be kind and to show respect to their patients. Norma was a model of positive living. Much Thanks.

To the entire Vlahides and Coakley families. I did not know Norma Vlahides directly. I'm sure that she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to all you. There are no words to ease your pain during this very sad time. However, the memories that you've all created whether they'd be good, bad and even the funny ones will stay forever in your hearts. I hope those wonderful memories can ease the pain whenever you are feeling a sad moment. God has taken yet another angel to watch over all of us from heaven.
I truly hope that you can all feel the love and prayers that will surround you during your time of mourning.

I wish there could have been more shopping trips, lunches and lots of laughs. I am thankful she is at peace now and she will be working lots of miracles up there in heaven. Love you girlfriend.
