Obituary of Angela Giunta

Angela LoMonaco Giunta, 96, died on Wednesday August 29, 2007 at the Regency Grande Nursing Home in Dover, New Jersey.
Mrs. Giunta was born in Vittoria, Sicily and came to the United States in 1916, to Brooklyn, New York. She was a resident of Denville and lived the last several years in Boonton. She was a seamstress and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She retired in 1975. Mrs. Giunta was a member of St. Cecilias Church. She was a wonderful cook.
Her husband Antonio predeceased Mrs. Giunta.
Her children, Jeanette Minetti (with her husband, Paul, of Boonton, NJ) and F.Aldo Giunta (with his wife Sandra of Goshen, NY), her six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews survive her.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services at 16 Righter Avenue., Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com (light a candle in Angela's memory on the website) on Friday August 31st at 8:30am for a 9:30am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Cecilias Church Rockaway, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday August 30th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to St. Cecelias Church Christian Care Committee, 90 Church Street, Rockaway, NJ 07866 or a Feed the Children feedthechildren.org online donation would be appreciated.
