Ruthelsie Landry, died at her daughters home in Boonton Twp, NJ on Thursday Aug.16, 2007.
She was born and raised in Hyde Park, Mass. And later moved to Schenectady, NY and finally to Venice, Fla. in 1981. She would summer with her daughter in Boonton Twp.
Ruthelsie had been the director of Volunteers at several nursing homes in the Albany and Schenectady, NY area before retiring in 1981.
Throughout her life she was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and she had donated over twenty gallons of blood.
Her husband Arthur Paul Landry died in June 2005. She is predeceased by her brother Edwin Maxwell.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Arthur Paul and Frieda J. Landry of Nashua, NH, and Jean and Jim Nightingale of Boonton Twp., her three grandchildren Beth Landry, Kira Nightingale, and Amy Nightingale, a greatgrandaughter Lucy Landry, and her sister Mildred Campbell of Marshfield, Mass.
