Obituary of Hirma Ros

Hirma "Mamacita" Ros, 94, died on Tuesday August 7, 2007 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville,NJ.
She was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba to Carlos and Luisa Miyares, and she came to the US in 1966. She settled in the Bronx and later moved to Jackson Heights, Queens before moving to Rockaway in 1993.
She was a homemaker, but she was very devoted to Our lady of Charity, and she was the Founder of Our Lady of Charity Society in Queens, where she had served as president for ten years. She was also a member of the Ladies Of the Rosary at Queen of Rosary Church in Dover, NJ.
Her Husband Emilio died on February 14, 1979.
She is survived by her daughters Hirma Ros and Irela Ros both of Rockaway. A sister Lilia Miyares of Miami, FL, a niece and God Child Mary Lou Trujillo of Miami, two nephews Guillermo Miyares, and Fernando Miyares both of Venezuela. And one great niece Cristina Gallagher.
She is also survived by her Dear Angel Anita Kalyan, and her special friend Danene Doto.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday Aug. 11, 2007 at 9:30 AM at St. Clement Pope & Martyr R.C. Church in Rockaway Twp., NJ.
