Mary Ellen Jackson, (nee Smith) died on Saturday July 28, 2007 at the Troy Hills Rehabilitation Center in Parsippany NJ, she was 94.
Born in Drumard, County Cavan, Ireland , she resided in Denville since 1997 and before that she was a resident of Holiday FL and Rutherford NJ..
During WWII she was a Rosie the Riveter at the Brooklyn Naval Yard. Mary Ellen was an active volunteer in many clubs and organizations throughout her life.
Her husband the late Patrick C. Jackson predeceased her in 1985.
Surviving is her daughter: Maureen O' Regan and her husband John of Kearny, NJ and two sons: Patrick Jackson and his wife Nancy of Fair Lawn, NJ and Kevin Jackson of St. Petersburg, FL. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Brian Jackson & Patrick O' Regan.
