If this is the Sue Bernesby I knew, I am beyond words - if I had only known I would have been there. She is one of the more memorable characters in very important period in my teenage life. She was a couple years older, gorgeous and full of spunk. She'd take us around in this old green LTD, listening to Loggins & Messina and every piece of cool music at that time and laugh and drive around locally. Thru out the years, I'd see her in town and she always had that sparkle, and man those eyes and hair! Like a rock star beauty. I also loved her younger sister Mary very much. Who knows what to do or say at a time like this but Sue was no less than a milestone in my life and made a huge impact on me personally - NEVER to be forgotten. It is extremely hard for me to process this part of my mid life cycle - seeing pivotal hometown sisters and brothers take their journey so soon - therefore I cannot even fathom the pain and loss her family must feel. I pray that they will have comfort every single second they need it. Say hello to Jeff Peters, Woag and Mrs, Marconi for us. I miss them and now will miss you.

I want to wish the Mannion and Bernesby families my deepest sympathies. I used to sit next to Susan at the Jet games along with her husband Bob and the rest of the group she attended the games with. They were always more fun because of her and the gang she hung out with. I will pray for her and know she is now with God and at peace.
Sincerely,
Marty Walsh, Jr.

Dear Bob, Julie, Luke, Charlie, Tami & Tara, I feel such pain, I can only imagine your anguish. She was such a light and such a presence, and such a good and loving friend! I have so many treasured memories that include Susan – I have thought of her so many times since we moved and so regret not picking up the phone. She surely took root in my heart and will always live there – I don’t know what happened that her life ended so early, but I want to believe she has found the peace and love promised to the pure of heart, for she surely was. Doug & I want to offer our sincere condolences in your loss. Please save my e-mail Bob and write a word or two when you can. With Love, Peggy & Doug Kane
