We moved from Rainbow 15 years ago but the memories of Andy remain vivid. Big smile, earnest laugh and a gentle love for his family were his trademarks.
If God is indeed Father, and I believe He is, then Lou Anne, Paul and Laura have a wonderful example of how to best honor God's name. LOVE YOUR KIDS

Mr. Stevenson was one if the sweetest, kindest individuals in Rainbow Lakes and he will be missed. It wasn't a swim meet without Mr. Steveson either standing on the side watching us or on the dock with a stop watch in his hand. I'll miss you Mr. Stevenson.

Uncle Andy always greeted me with saying my name, Edie Duff, (not just Edie) and a big smile. Then I got all the lastest news on his kids, and all those swimming pictures(smile). I know the next time we meet, I'll hear his voice say, Edie Duff and know that's my Uncle Andy. Tell Aunt Louisa the "Worm" says hello.
Love Edie

Uncle Andy I always enjoyed seeing you and coming to our house for the barbecues. I loved seeing all the pictures of your grandchildren and talking about working at United Parcel Service since we both worked there. You always had some really good stories especially about the bear that almost got into your house. I wish I had the pleasure to meet your wife Aunt Louisa. You will be missed.
Love,

I am blessed to say that I had not only a great dad, but a wonderful friend. He was the ultimate bragging POP. I think of the stories he told about us as children and about his grandchildren and I laugh. I picture everyone bracing themselves for Andy's stories. He adored every ounce of each and everyone of his Grandkids. Hewould always take compliments about the kids and say "it's all in the genes. Meaning his all powerful Stevenson genes. He was kind, gentle and giving. He cared about us more than anything. Over the last few years my dad became more than a dad to me, he became one of my best friends. I went to him for advice, with tears, concerns, questions and for support. He was always there for me and my family.
We were extremely blessed to have POP as our dad.
You will be missed beyond belief. You will always be in my heart and soul.
Love Laura

I was blessed to have Andy as my Father-In -Law,and the
grandfather of ours kids. There are grandfathers, grandpa's but there is no one like our POP. For Michael, Bryna, Jacqueline and Andrew
Pop was the greatest. He LOVED
these kids, he was there for everything they did. He always
had a smile on his face when it came to his grandkids. Was there any in New Jersey who did not see a picture of them. He was proud of everythinfg they did big or small. When I asked Pop if I can marry Laura, He did not say yes but said it's about time, then said Yes. That was
his funny side. Thanks POP I
have the greatest, loving wife
that any man could ask for. I was Blessed We were all Blessed to have you in our lives. You will be missed.
Love Laura, Jim, Jackie and Andrew (jr) Grant

Dear Uncle Andy,
I love you very much. I remember going up to the lake with my dad and going swimming with Laura and Louanne and Paul and being with Aunt Lousia. I remember most of the parties you had up at the lake and we all had a great time. I remember you and my dad riding the mopeds around the lake and I think Uncle David too. I remember your plants and your greenhouse and your cats. I remember when your grandson Michael was born and you driving him down to Kearny so we all could see him. You were an excellent grandpa. I wish we could have come up to the lake one more time to visit you, I kept saying to Charlie I want to go up soon to see Uncle Andy. Thank you so much for being there when my dad was sick at the end. I know my dad was stubborn and sometimes a pain in the butt but he did love all of us in his own way. I am so glad that Laura and Louanne took your great nephew Brian to see you. I will miss you very much and I love you. Now you are with your wife Aunt Lousia, and your brothers Uncle David and my Dad, and your sisters Aunt Edie, Aunt Lil, and Aunt Florence and your mom and dad Grandma and Grandpa Stevenson. Please say hello to my Mom & Dad & Joan for me in Heaven and tell them all I love them and miss them very much. Love your Niece Nancy and Brian James.

Always a smile on his face, that's how I remember Uncle Andy. His family was the greatest joy of his life, he has left a legacy and a lifetime of memories for not only his children and grandchildren but also for everyone whose path was crossed by him. Now it's time for him and Aunt Louisa to reunite for an eternity in the grace of God.
