Edward S. Zelasny passed away at his home in Denville, NJ on November 21, 2012.
He was 83 years old.
Born in Pennsylvania, he had lived in Denville, NJ for many years.
Edward served in the U.S. Army and was a self employed mechanic by trade, operating both the Glacier Shell in Morris Plains and Ed's Shell Succasunna.
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Josephine M. (Marcellis) Zelasny in 2009, and by his brother Frank Zelasny and sister Cecilia L. Barron.
Edward is survived by his children James, Robert, Joseph, Edward Jr., and Mary Ann, along with 6 grandchildren, and 3great grandchildren. His siblings Joseph Zelasny, Bernadette Smith, Frances McGar and Theresa Fulton also survive him.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Monday November 26, 2012 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Mass of Christian burial service. Interment will follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery in Madison, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit on Sunday Nov. 25, at the funeral home from 2-5PM.
