Lorraine Demarais, 81, died on Sunday June 10, 2007 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mrs. Demarais was born in the Bronx, NY and was resident of Tobyhanna, Pa and the last 5 years in Denville, NJ. Mrs. Demarais was a Tolls Supervisor for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from 1964 to her retirement in 1987.
Her husband the late Edward L. Demarais predeceased her in 2000.
Three children, John and his wife Cathe Touhsant of Cocoa Beach, Fl, Lorraine and her husband Ted Swanson of Robbinsville, NJ, Barbara Kontje of Denville, NJ, Step Mother of James and Cheryl Demarais of Red Bank, NJ, Grandmother of Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Sister of Evelyn Rochwell of Andover, NJ survive Mrs. Demarais.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com (light a candle in Lorraines memory) on Wednesday June 13th at 9:00am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday June 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
