Mary Allison Arra (nee Kapps) died on Saturday May 5, 2007 at the Morris Hills Genesis Care Facility following a twenty-year courageous cancer battle, she was 59.
Born in New York she lived in Rockaway Township for twenty-eight years and for the past three years Allison resided in Morris Plains.
Allison graduated from the County College of Morris in 1987 with an Associate degree. She volunteered at St. Marys Church in Denville where she was also a parishioner. Her lifes work was her family; she was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt.
Surviving are her husband Richard, daughter Tracy, son Scott and his fiance Stacy and sister Lynne and her husband Dr. Richard Whalen. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday May 9, at 10:00am at St. Marys Church in Denville. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her visiting on Tuesday May 8, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville NJ 07834 www.normandean.com (light a candle in her memory).
In lieu of flowers donations in Allisons name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
