Rico J. Gambino passed away on November 13, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
He was 78 years old.
Born in Queens, NY he had lived in Rockaway Township since 1970.
Rico served in the U.S. Army and had worked for Magnavox Corporation and then for Yellow Freight Company in Pine Brook, NJ as a truck driver.
Rico was predeceased by his wife of 47 years Ann M. (Conroy) Gambino in 2005.
He is survived by his children Karen Gambino of Rockaway Twp., Debbie Fischer of Green Pond, and Matthew Gambino of Landing, NJ. His grandchildren Elyse & Evan Fischer also survive him.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30AM on Saturday November 17, 2012 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Cecilia's Church in Rockaway for a 9:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Marcella Union Cemetery in Rockaway Twp. Friends may visit on Friday from 6-9PM.
