She was one great gal, I enjoyed working with her and after she retired, I would see her periodically.

Joan,
As in Debbies memories I too had taken up residence on occasion at your home when we were young. Always feeling welcome and loved by both you and your Mom. It must be comforting knowing the people she touched and how they all know your mom as a warm, loving, and happy person. You and Jack were able to make her retired years happy ones as your friends often commented on how Thema had more of a social life than her daughter! We will always remember your mom and alway have plenty of memories to talk about when we are together. We love you.

I don't think there was a nicer lady than Mrs E. She opened her home to me years ago when I was a bit of a lost lamb. She would cook dinner for Joan & I every night to make sure we were eating properly. Always with a smile. She was a very happy lady. Bingo, Atlantic City, hanging with the Denville girls. I remember going to her 80th birthday party. I had a ball with Thelma, Mr. & Mrs. Hosick, & the Denville girls who wanted so much to dance & did! Women after my own heart. She was a GREAT lady. Proof positive because she has a sweetheart of a daughter, Joan, whom I have known for years. Joan, she will be greatly missed I know, but take solice in the fact that you have had one of the best mother-daughter relationships I've ever seen. That speaks volumes to everyone, even people who never had the pleasure of meeting your Mom. You are your Mom. You will carry on her legacy. A legacy of warmth, kindness, generosity & above all Love.

I believe I met Thelma only once over the 22 years that I've known Joan but I know her through Joan and she was a very loving, sweet, thoughtful, beautiful woman blessed with a loving, sweet, thoughtful, beautiful daughter. Thelma was truly blessed with a long, healthy life, a wonderful daughter and son-in-law and she will contine to be blessed in death.

Dear Joan,
Although we only knew your mother slightly, we were aware that she was a special person. Our last outing with your Mom was when we were invited to come up to that awful place you lived in in Mt. Freedom. Do you remember that? Like good parents we all said that we had a lovely time and enjoyed our meal that you made for us.
You have been a wonderful daughter and we know you will miss her terribly.
Love,
Dan and Doreen
