Dolores (Dee) Murray (nee King) of Ledgewood, formerly of Denville, passed away on Sunday April 22, 2007 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover.
Daughter of the late Jack and Madeline King, Mrs. Murray was born in Brooklyn, NY. on January 1, 1942. After working at Newsweek in New York for several years, Mrs. Murray moved to Denville in 1970, where she lived until 1997. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Mrs. Murray was employed by Collective Bank (former Montclair Savings Bank) in Boonton.
Mrs. Murray is predeceased by her husband Robert J Murray Sr., her brother Richard J. King and his wife Lucille, and her daughter Kathleen A. Murray.
Survivors include her son Raymond and wife Christine of Moseley, VA, her son Robert Jr. and wife Michelle of Rockaway, her daughter, Karen Murray and Scott Merlo of Oak Ridge, and her brother George King and wife Roseanne of Port Richey, Fl.
Also surviving Mrs. Murray are her four grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything in the world; Michael and Robert Murray of Rockaway, and Emily and Abigail Murray of Moseley VA.
Mrs. Murray was a warm, courageous woman with a wonderful sense of humor who will be dearly missed by her loving family and many, many friends.
A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Friday April 27, 2007 at 10:00am at the Chapel at St Francis.
