Ruthe Christ Moran, died peacefully in her cherished Boonton Twp. Home on Monday April 16, 2007. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late George C. and Bertha Herrick Christ. As a child she moved to Upper Darby, Pa. She graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Education in 1944. She moved to Boonton in 1945 and was a Home Economics Teacher in Boonton High School where she met her husband T. Earl Moran. After her children were born she became a substitute teacher. She was a passionate follower of Ballroom Dancing, and was a skilled Bridge Player. She had been a Girl Scout Leader for her three daughters. She had also been a member of the Denville Rotary Anns. Her husband T. Earl Moran died on April 20, 1991. She is survived by her children, Virginia Moran of Red Bank, NJ, Victoria Moran and her husband John Kelly of Abington, Mass., and Carol and her husband David Panasik of Boonton Twp, NJ. She is also survived by her two beloved granddaughters Tristan Panasik and Julia Kelly and a brother Dr. George H. Christ of Belleair Bluffs, Fla. Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Friday April 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM for an 11:00 AM Service at St. Johns Episcopal Church on 244 Cornelia St. in Boonton, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 7-9 PM.
