Anna Salmon, 89 Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother Anna Salmon died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ. Mrs. Salmon was born and raised in Naples, Italy, she lived in Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Jersey City, New Jersey; Madison, New Jersey; and most recently Rockaway Township, New Jersey. A homemaker, she was the devoted wife of the late Edward H. Salmon. She was predeceased by her brother Alfonso and his wife Rose Arnone and sisters Carmela and her husband Giacomo Aprea, and Concetta Arnone. Surviving are her sons and daughters in laws Joseph and Virginia Salmon, and John and Leslie Salmon; six grandchildren Angela and her husband Steve Manni, Michele Salmon, Pamela Salmon, Christopher Salmon, Laura and her husband Michael Mucci and Amy Salmon; six great grandchildren A.J. and Ryan Salmon, Michael and Christian Mucci, Vincent and Andrew Manni. She is also survived by nieces and nephews here in the United States and in Italy. Funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (in her memory light a candle), on Wednesday April 18th at 9:00am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church, 154 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Rockaway Township, NJ. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday April 17th from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Anne Villa, P.O.Box 476, Convent Station, NJ 07961-0476 would be appreciated.
