Maria L. Wheelock (Nee Kennedy) died on Wednesday March 28, 2007 at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, she was 49. Her bravery and unwavering faith are an inspiration to all.
Born and raised in Denville, Maria resided in Denville most of her life.
She worked for Morristown Memorial Hospital in various departments for over thirty years.
She loved to shop. She loved people. Most of all she loved her daughters. People who had never met Autumn and Tanya knew them by just hearing Maria tell of their lives. They were her Pride and Joy. She also loved her five other kids, her Papillons.
Maria was a loving Daughter and Mother as well as a Great Friend to all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her loving daughters Autumn and Tanya Wheelock both of Denville, her Mother Marjorie Kennedy of Denville, sister Laura and her husband Rick DeFreytag of PA, and brother Michael Kennedy of Rockaway, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, Hal Falk and Scott Wheelock.

Relatives and friends will be received at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ on Saturday April 7th from 12 to 1pm with services at 1pm.
