Helen T. Karst, 100, passed on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ.
Mrs. Karst, born in Minersville, PA, was a longtime resident of Jersey City and later, a resident at St. Francis Health Resort in Denville. Mrs. Karst was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for RCA in Harrison, NJ for 15 years before retiring many years ago.
Mrs. Karst was predeceased by her husband, John F. Karst (the former Deputy Police Chief of Jersey City, NJ) in 1972. Surviving her are two daughters, Diane E. (and her husband Art Brown) of Boonton, NJ and Marcia J. (and her husband John Kirincich) of Bayville, NJ, five grandchildren, Linda, John, Tracy, AJ, and Laura, and 4 great grandchildren, Kristi, Julie, Timmy, and Parker.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com on Thursday at 8:30am for a 9:30am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Ann Church in Parsippany, NJ. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 7-9pm.
