Lynn Mucha-Hurman (nee Saffer) died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday February 28, 2007 she was 79. Born in Linden NJ, Lyn grew up in Newark and resided in Richmond VA, North Arlington NJ and for the past four years in Rockaway NJ. She worked as an executive secretary with Worthington Pump in Harrison retiring in 1985. Lyn was active in the Red Hat Society of Morris County, Huff n Puffers of Morris County, Fox Hills Community in Rockaway, and the Moslem Mosque, Brooklyn. Lynn's first husband Jacob Mucha died in 1962 and her second husband Edward Hurman died in 2001. Surviving are her three sons, John Mucha and his wife Bonnie of Newark, Del. Richard Mucha and his wife Lorraine of Andover NJ, and Robert Mucha of Passaic. Also surviving are five grandchildren Tracie Close and husband Michael, Chrissy Boyle and husband John, Richard Mucha and wife Katie, Courtney and Casey Mucha and one great-grandchild Patrick Mucha.
