Obituary of John B. Quinn

John B. Quinn, 63, died on Wednesday Feb. 14, 2007 at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ.
John was born in Morristown, and raised in Mt. Tabor, before moving to Denville and later to Sparta, NJ, 33 years ago.
He graduated from Drew University in Madison in 1965 with a B. A. in Zoology.
John was a Pharmacological Researcher with both Sandoz and Warner Lambert Corporations into the 1970s. He then went on to work as a bartender at the Walpack Inn in Walpack and at the Brauhaus in Sparta.
He had also been a substitute teacher in the Sussex County area.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid sports fan especially high school football and wrestling. He was an umpire for both softball and baseball in the Sussex area.
He also enjoyed cooking.
His mother Margaret Peg Quinn died in 2002.
He is survived by his son Jared and his wife Christine Quinn of East Hampton, Mass. As well as his beloved friend and companion Diane G. Sanders of Hopatcong.
Also surviving is his father J. William Bill Quinn of Milford, Pa., his brothers Robert H. Quinn and Carol LaStarza of Branchville, and Daniel W. and his wife Dee Quinn and his nephews Justin and Christopher all of Tucson, AZ. and his Aunt Deanna Petey Peters of Mt. Tabor, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
