Noreen C. Daly (Bergen) passed away at her home in the Rainbow Lakes section of Parsippany, NJ. She was 79 years old.
Born in Paterson, she had lived in Haledon, NJ before moving to Rainbow Lakes 50 years ago.
She attended St. Joes Nursing School in Paterson graduating in 1948.
She had been a nurse at St. Clares Riverside in Denville and for Dr. Walthers in Rockaway, NJ for many years before retiring in 1992.
Noreen is predeceased by her husband James C. Daly in 2002, and her sister Eileen Bergen in 1946.
Her daughters Noreen Daly-Eytel (& Tom) of Hampstead, NH, and Alicia (& Chuck) Nussbaum of Flanders, NJ and her 3 grandchildren Rebecca Eytel, Daniel Nussbaum and Grace Nussbaum survive her.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Friday January 26 at 9:30AM, for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes at 10:30 AM. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Rainbow Lakes Fire Department.
