Obituary of William N. Deller

William N. Deller passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ on Saturday December 16, he was 87 years old. Born in Summit, he had grown up in Boonton, then moved to Denville in 1958, and finally to Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains, NJ in 2001. He had served in the US Army during WWII, ending his military career as Staff Sergeant. During the 40s thru the 60s he worked in the radio tube/transistors industry, during the 70s and into the 80s he worked at Apollo Chemical, and from 1983 he worked at St. Clares Hospital in Denville as a maintenance system specialist until he retired in 1998. William was a life member of the Denville VFW Post #2519. He was a past member of the Denville Lions Club, and also a member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mt. Lakes. In 1995 William earned his real estate license, and in 1996, at 75 yeas old, he obtained enough flight time to get his pilots license. He is pre deceased by his daughter Debra Ann Deller in 1962. His daughters Tammy Deller (& Keefe Ostertag) of Lafayette, and Nancy (& Kevin) Kohl of Denville, NJ survive him. His grandchildren Stephanie (& Vito) Kalemanis, Konner, and Karson Kohl, Jaymes Ostertag, and his sister Arlene Dempsey of Rainbow Lakes, NJ also survive him.
