Obituary of Christian M. Sheerer

Christian M. Sheerer, 41, died on Tuesday December 12, 2006 at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. He was born in Jersey City, and moved to Rockaway as a child, and 1978 he and his family moved to Denville, which he calls home. Chris attended Syracuse University where he pursued a business degree, although he never received his degree he went to work in New York City where he succeeded in retail sales. Chris had been a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity at Syracuse University. He was a very generous person who was loyal to his family and friends. He never truly realized how much he was loved. His father William R. Sheerer died on November 12, 2004. His mother Mary Kearney Sheerer of Denville and his sister Valerie Sheerer of Jefferson Twp survive him. Two nephews Michael and Douglas, a niece Taylor Leigh, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him. A funeral service will be held on Saturday Dec. 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Denville Community United Methodist Church 190 Diamond Spring Rd. Denville, NJ.
