Theodore W. Lindabury, 90, died on Monday October 9, 2006 at the Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center, Denville, NJ. Mr. Lindabury was born in Whippany, NJ and grew up in Morristown, NJ. He was a graduate of the Class of 1933 at Morristown High School. He also lived in Denville and New Port Richey, FL. Mr. Lindabury was a Second Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank, New York City, New York. During his years with the bank he lived in Hong Kong, Osaka, Japan and the Virgin Islands. He retired in 1975 after 40 years of service. During World War II he served in the US Army 534th Amphibious Tractor Battalion in the Pacific attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. Lindabury served as a past Trustee of the Denville Community United Methodist Church. His wife Florence L. Christensen predeceased him in 1996. He is survived by his daughters and their husbands Daphne and Peter Carey, and Susan and Stephen Bias all of Denville, his grandchildren Paige Buono, Sara and Daniel Bias, his brother Frederick Lindabury of Mission Viejo, CA and many loving nieces and nephews. A true gentleman, he touched the lives of many people and will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial services on Friday Oct. 13th at 10:00am at the Denville Community United Methodist Church 190 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, NJ 07834. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Denville Community Church. Interment will follow at the Denville Cemetery.
