Kenneth Stole, 71, died on Tuesday Sept. 26th at the Iredell Memorial Hospital, Statesville, NC
Mr. Stole was born on March 24, 1935 in Union City, NJ to Johann Kristiansen Stole and Olga Kristina Andersen Stole originally of Laget, Norway. Reluctantly he moved to North Carolina after living and working his entire life in Denville. As his trade he was a Master Tool and Die maker with Advance Pressure Castings, Denville, NJ for 36 years but at home and in his heart he was a carpenter for his wife. A graduate of Rockaway High School in 1952 was a member of the Denville Fire Department Main Street Fire Company from 1956 to 1963. Next to his family, he loved a good book, Maine, his garage and of course, hillbilly music.
Kenneth Stole was a devoted and beloved husband of Alice, adored father to Kenneth Raymond Stole of Spring Hill, TN, JoAnne Kristina Stole of Blairstown, NJ, James Leith IV of Statesville, NC and Jacqueline Holinko of Mt. Bethel, PA, he was the grandfather Pop to Seth, Ethan, Jimmy, Chris, Kyle, Joey, Kim, Dana, Brett and Blaze. He was the brother of Camilla Konecnik of Denville, NJ. He was the uncle to Allan Trainello of Belvidere, NJ Karen Andersen of Boise, ID, Laura Richardson of Hopatcong, NJ and Camilla Petrocco of Hackettstown. He was the lifelong friend to Raymond Gronemann of Denville, NJ,he was predeceased by his sisters Gudren, Kristina, and Irene.
Funeral services at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Saturday Sept. 30th at 11:00am, interment Denville Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday Sept. 29th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
