Anne R. Sweetman, 92, died at her residence in Denville, J on Thursday Sept. 21, 2006.
Mrs. Sweetman was born in Jersey City, and moved to Lyndhurst and the last 8 years was a resident of Denville, NJ. Mrs. Sweetman was employed at the Irish World and the Metropolitan Insurance Co. in New York City, NY and retired from Nation Wide Services in Lyndhurst as a Clerical Supervisor in 1984.
Her husband Donald G. Sweetman Sr. predeceased her in 1996. Her children Dorothy S. Jury of Denville, Barbara J. Martin of Chester, survive Mrs. Sweetman Grace S. Galasso of Lyndhurst, and Donald G. Sweetman Jr. of Nutley, 12 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and two sisters, Elizabeth Gleason of Rye, NY and Joanne Curry of Phillipsburg, NJ survive her.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday Sept. 25th at 9:00am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday Sept. 24th from 2-5pm. In Lieu of flowers donations to Visiting Nurse Assoc of Northern New Jersey, 38 Elm Street, Morristown, NJ 07960 would be appreciated.
