Karin Hall Patton, 60, died on Friday September 8, 2006 at Atlantic Home Care and Hospice in Morristown, NJ.
Karin was born and raised in Elizabeth, and had lived in Budd Lake for many years before moving to Denville four years ago.
Karin had a great enthusiasm for life, combined with courage and unbounded energy, which allowed her to excel at many things. She worked in advertising, public relations, architecture and most recently in law, as a paralegal with her husband Jim, where clients and adversaries alike admired her tenacity, her drive and her sense of justice.
Karin was an artist who found expression in painting, photography, weaving, stained glass and interior decorating.
She was an athlete who enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, running, cycling and working out.
Most importantly, Karin was a wonderful wife, mother, mother in-law, and grandmother.
Karin is survived by her husband Jim Patton, her son and daughter in-law Sean and Natalie
de Mello of Marion. Ill, and her grandson Evan Joseph de Mello, a previous husband Robert de Mello of Hackettstown, her parents Henry and Nathalie Tangowski and her brother Bruce Tangowski all of Elizabeth, NJ.
Her services will be private. Donations are being accepted to Atlantic Home Care & Hospice 151 Madison Ave. Morristown, NJ 07962 in her name.
