JEAN WASHINGTON, (nee Smith) on Tuesday September 5, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, surrounded by her loving family she was 80.
Born in Newark NJ Jeannie has resided in Denville for over fifty years. Her husband George predeceased her in 1982.
Jeannie worked at Clydes Cleaners in Denville for over Thirty years; she was also a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary in Denville.
Jeannies great sense of humor will be deeply missed.
Jean is survived by her three loving sons Michael of Clinton NJ, Bruce and his wife Lalette of Virginia Beach VA, and Kevin and his wife Sheri of Denville. Six beloved grandchildren, Chris, Richard, Erica, Amy, Kevin, and Ryan also survive her. Jeannie also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 8, 2006 at 10:30am at St. Marys Church in Denville. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 7, 2006 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue Denville NJ 07834, www.normandean.com.
