Janice Elaine (Valask) Ialenti, 75, died on Sept. 1,2006 at her home in Parsippany, NJ. Mrs. Ialenti was born in (Vailsburg) Newark, NJ and has been a resident of Parsippany since 1974. Mrs. Ialenti was an executive secretary for the Monroe Calculating Co., for 30 years. After retiring 15 years ago, she spent her time with friends and family, especially her granchildren. She was a special "Nanny" for many years to the adoring boys of the Capone Family.
Mrs. Ialenti was predeceased by her beloved husband Jerry Ialenti in 1986, and her loving daughter JeriLynn Kedersha in 2001. She was the cherished mother to Louann Finkell and her husband Karl of Albany, NY, Cheryl Addonizio and her husband James of Homdel, NJ, Cindy Wortmann and her husband Robert of Parsippany and her son - in- law Dennis Kedersha of Basking Ridge. She was the devoted grandmother to Erik & Melissa Finkell, John & Anthony Addonizio and Michael & Michelle Wortmann, and a wonderful sister to Carol Ferrari of Randolph and Marlene Padula of Morehead,Ky. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was loved by all and will be missed by many.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Wednesday Sept. 6th at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday Sept. 5th fro 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
