Robert Swenson, 89, passed away on Wednesday, December 31st. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10th from 2-4 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. Military Honors will be present. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations in his memory to The Wounded Warrior Project.
Born in Norwalk, Ct; Bob lived in Denville for many years. After his schooling, he proudly served his country with the US Army during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a photographer while raising his family with his wife Gilda.
Surviving is his wife Gilda (nee Francklyn) of 69 years; sons Christopher, Per and Eric; his adoring grandchildren Eryn, Heather and Hunter; and great granddaughter Ava Cunningham.
