Roberta Anne Berry (née Field), 82, of Denville passed away on December 30, 2014. Mrs. Berry was born in Jersey City on November 11, 1932 to Robert George and Anne Eleanor Field. She married her "Sweetheart" Eugene Elmer Berry in 1954. Together they lived in Maywood for 6 years on Berry Court before moving to Florida for several years. They later moved to Denville at Cedar Lake and have been there ever since; for about 30 years. Roberta was the kind of woman that made you appreciate her honesty. She always told you the truth, whether you wanted to hear it or not, and that was admirable. She loved to spend her spare time watching any and every Johnny Depp movie. Roberta will be missed.
Predeceased by her husband Eugene Berry in 1999, her son Thomas Berry, and her loyal puppy Pookie; Roberta is survived by her grandchildren Thomas E. Berry, Jr. and Jacqueline N. Berry; her wonderful caretaker Aida Bautista and her loving family; her niece Tammy Boyd; and other extended family members.
Funeral Services will be private and under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services.
