Obituary of Elaine Josephine Condon

Elaine J. Condon, 88, died in her sleep on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her home in Denville, NJ.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Boonton Township in 1958. She later moved to Franciscan Oaks in Denville, NJ, in 2009.
Elaine graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with a degree in Graphic Arts. She started and ran a few graphic design companies in Morris County, NJ, the last one named Condon and Company in Boonton Township. She retired in 2001.
She had been a member of the Rockaway Valley Garden Club in Boonton Township, the Mountain Lakes Club, and, her favorite, the Thursday Club. She was also a volunteer mentor of young people for the organization Roots and Wings.
She is survived by her husband, William M. Condon and her two sons, William and his wife Karen of Denville, NJ and Chris and his wife Ning of Jersey City, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Erin Mottet of San Diego, CA, Katelin Robinson of Weehawken, NJ, Calvin Condon of Jersey City, NJ, and her sister Adele Myer of Fort Pierce, FL.
