Obituary of Raymond J. Hoffman

Raymond J. Hoffman passed away at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his family on November 12, 2014.
He was 77 years old.
Born in Newark, he has lived in Denville, NJ for the last 39 years.
Raymond served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1960-1963.
He worked as a pipe fitter for Bendix, Foster Wheeler, and the Hyatt Headquarters Plaza for over 30 years. He was a 4th Degree Knight of the Short Hills Council Knights of Columbus; he volunteered & coached boy's softball at the Highland Lakes Country Club for 30 years.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents John & Albertina (Wolf) Hoffman and his son Robert Hoffman in 2010.
He is survived by his wife Diane (Koschir) Hoffman of Denville, NJ, his sons James Hoffman and Antoinette Robertiello of West Caldwell and Thomas and Laura Hoffman of Denville, NJ. Raymond is also survived by his daughter in-law Susan Hoffman of Frelinghuysen, and his step grandchildren Ryan and Rebecca McAteer of Denville, NJ.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Saturday November 15, 2014 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8PM.
